Spooky Brook Golf Course

Spooky Brook Golf Course is one of four courses owned and operated by the Somerset County Park Commission. It is relatively flat with large greens, tees, and fairways. Fairly easy to walk, it is known as a favorite of senior golfers.

Very flat county course. Good for senior golfers/high handicappers. Get aggressive right from Tee #1 for a chance at birdie. Be careful of #17. Lay up if your drive wasn't perfect! Pace of play is 4 hrs in the early mornings.

Played for the first time last weekend. Nicely maintained Somerset County muni. Wide fairways and little to no out-of-bounds makes this a good course for higher handicappers - less penalty strokes and lost balls. Flat course is very walkable. Staff seemed friendly for muni. Might be a little boring for better players, most of the holes are flat and straight. I enjoyed it though. Will be back.

Very open and mostly flat course. Greens are relatively flat. #14 is interesting. Very nice people on staff, for a muni.
