It is generally regarded as one of the better public courses in New Jersey and was also praised by Golf for Women magazine. Course Details
Average Hole Difficulty
Greens slow and furry. Fairways and tees in good condition. Pace of Play is not very good. Nice public course in good condition. Nice but not outstanding layout. Short distances are more than offset by its narrowness. Like is best of the Morris County courses. The layout and make up of the course is challenging. If you are an in county resident the value is good, but the out-of-county rates makes the course a little too pricey for what you get. Greens were inconsistent and spongy. Rough was already beginning to become burnt out. To see my full video review of Sunset Valley as well as other course in New Jersey go to: www.golfcoursereviewgurus.com A well maintained course for a county course. Once the improvments are finished the course will play more difficult. Greens can be inconsistant from day to day. Overall for a county resident you can't beat the value. Your Review
