Twisted Dune Golf Club is a rather unique for a New Jersey course; designer Archie Struthers's design required the moving of over two million cubic yards of earth, resulting in some dramatic elevation changes and sculpted mounding, framed by wild and fescue grasses and over 100 bunkers that alternate between deep ravines and natural-looking wind-blown hazards.
Rates vary by season and range from $49 in the winter to $79 in the summer. Memberships, group outings, and sliding twilight rates are offered.

This is my favorite course down the Shore. It is close to Ocean City and it is a good value. We played in 4 hours, 20 minutes. Make sure to bring some golf balls as there are many places to lose them.

slo play but fun course with lots of character. every hole interesting with nice wide fairways but make sure you hit them. once out of them you pay the price in lost balls and strokes. greens are also large with lots contours and good speed.

I love this course and always well maintained. You will pay a steep price for wayward shots so choose your club wisely off the tee.

very nice course.....bring plenty of balls if you spray the ball...will play again

Nice Views. Sand Bunkers are horrible - more stones than sand. A little pricey.
NO BEER is offered at the clubhouse or via the beer cart girl - HUGE DAGGER.

played here for my birthday and we booked online and got the greens fee for half off. The bunkers were more clay-ish but that was expected for this links style course. The place was great for the money and defiantly a must play for the Atlantic city area.

played the course during the off season and was pleasantly surprised at the number of wide fairways. course was very tough if you hit the ball into the massive bunkers that line every fairway, right or left is trouble. Pace was slow becuase of allthe people looking for golf balls in the tall grass. would really like to play this again when the greens were not aerated.

Course was nice and in good shape. Most bunker were full of stones (for the price I expect all sand). They claim drastic elevation changes. The coarse is basically flat like most other Jersey coarses, the only elevation changes are if you hit an errant shot and end up on top of one of the tall dunes(if you even find it). The fescue(sp?) is tough. A good drive rolls off the fairway by 10 feet and is lost, if you don't know EXACTLY where it went in. Although choosing to play a linx coarse this is to be expected. I guess my main issue should be the quality for the price. I expect immaculate and perfect when spending $100.00 to golf.

Got behind some type of Ryder Cup. Pace was real slow. Course is tough and sometimes the fescue (sp?) is too penalizing. For example on 18. Par 4, 470 yards from the blue tees but 5 yards right of the green you cannot find your ball. Overall not bad but a little pricey.

Very unique feel - once you enter the dunes, you don't see much else. Tall Dunes with wispy grass - tons of bunkers, but they're not too hard to avoid. Fairways are wide and spongy. Interesting local rule: no relief from cart paths. They're all made of sand. Also, no Beer at the 19th hole!
