Although this course was founded in 1970 by the City of Muskegon, Chase Hammond Golf Club is now privately owned and operated, co-owned with Winding Creek GC in Holland, Michigan.
Chase Hammond Golf Club is not an overly long golf course, but is well known for its heavily tree-lined fairways. It was the first design by architect Mark DeVries. Chase Hammond hosts the Greater Muskegon Golf Association's annual Henderson Memorial Match Play Championship.
The course remains open to the public; the standard walking rates are $24 weekdays and $25 weekends (carts are $14/person). Senior, junior, and 9-hole discounts are offered, as are memberships and various specials.

Agree w/ enoggle. Nice Old Country course. Price was right.

Well maintained greens but Tee boxes just ok. This course requires straight Drivers due to Tree lined fairways. Greens hold and roll true. Beautiful course and fun to play. Highly recommend.
