The signature hole is #16, a 172-yard, par 3, featuring a breathtaking, panoramic view of the surrounding area. This hole requires your tee shot to carry over both a pond and a stream to a somewhat undulating green. There is plenty of wildlife like turkeys, deer, and fox that can be seen on the course. This club was originally founded in 1890 and has been listed by the USGA as one of the first 100 clubs established in the U.S. It was also recognized in "GOLF Magazine's" 1995 list of "The First 100 Clubs in America." The course conditioning is one of the very best in the area.

One of the best private courses in the Capital District. The course conditioning is superb, the greens are true & fast and it's a hard but fair test of golf (especially the uphill par 5 18th hole). #16 has great views of the entire area and is the signature hole
