Formally known as Burnet Golf Course, this 9-hole, par-28 layout is owned and operated by the City of Syracuse. The course opened in 1901, but underwent renovations in 1988. It is located in Burnet Park atop Tipperary Hill, which affords views of the surrounding area, including nearby Rosamond Gifford Zoo. The tree-lined fairways are fairly wide, leaving room for error. Locals describe Burnet GC as easy to walk and enjoyable for beginners and higher-handicap players.

The 9-hole walking rate is $6, while juniors and seniors pay $3. Season passes are available.
