Crab Meadow Golf Course is Huntington's home for golf. Crab Meadow is located in Northport, New York along the picturesque North Shore. With breathtaking views of the Long Island Sound on each shot, Crab Meadow will sure to please every caliber of golfer.

Designed by architect William F. Mitchell, the golf course is 6,574/5,658 yards with a rating of 71.6/73.7 and a slope of 125/126.

I play this course as a junior on weekdays after 3:00 all summer for $9. This is the best value on a course I have ever seen and I pay 9 for 18 holes when I could easily pay 18 for 9 holes. Plus you get water views of the Long Island SOund through the entire back nine.

Crab Meadow is great. I love playing there. Always in good shape these days, some very friendly marshals and rangers. A reachable par 5 for some eagle putt action. No snooty billionaires, just generally nice locals and guests.

On the weekends there can be groups of first time players or teenagers who have zero clue about raking bunkers or speed of play etiquette. but you find those everywhere and it's not a reflection on the course itself.

Crab Meadow is awesome public course and its always challenging. If youGÇÖre lucky enough to be a Huntington Town resident youGÇÖll always have a great course to play. Tee times can be hard to land on weekends during the main golf season but itGÇÖs worth it if you get on. The course maintenance has improved every year for the past 3 years and the staff is very helpful.
