Conditions are awful, an absolute embarrassment for Jack to have his name on this course. Tough course with tons of OB, mishit a drive and add 2 strokes. Greens were hard/firm, but slow and bumpy. Looked like they haven't been touched yet this season for maintainence. Certain holes memorable for being tough, but this was not a fun golf course to play. If driving a long distance to play a mountain layout, go to Patriot Hills.

Got a GolfNow deal for $45. I enjoyed the challenge of the holes and the Jack Nicklaus design. It is different than other mountain layouts in the area. While true, you have to it quality shots, the greens were large and yielded several one putts. Bunkers were well taken care of.

Tough course, many forced carries but good shots get funneled to the hole. Condition could be better. Be patient and wait for special deals, often pricey.

Way too expensive. $89 (M-Th), $109 (F), $129 (Sat-Sun) and not worth any of those rates. You should pay no more than $50 or $60 to play here. The greens are a pretty good speed but there are ball marks all over. Would be nice otherwise. Fairways aren't great but they are playable. Tee boxes are awful. Jack Nicklaus would be appalled by the conditions at one of his "signature courses."
I'm also not a fan of the layout. Played this course 3 times now and still don't like it. Nothing special about this Jack Nicklaus course at all. It's good if you can get a good deal money wise and you live locally, but not worth driving over 45 minutes to play.

Played in a 4-man best ball tournament. Great variety of open and tight holes. Mishits punished severly, but well hit balls are rewarded with nice angles into the greens. Greens were easy to read and did not have hidden breaks. Dense brush everywhere, bring extra balls if you slice or hook.

great challenge; fast greens, hilly, force carries from the tee and fairway. But best of all, the price for a senior,m-th is $49 and replay for all is $39
