New for 2014 and often paired with XTD hybrids, the XTD irons feature what Adams engineers call a "cross-cavity" design. As with some hybrids, the XTD's CG is moved away from the thin face for a more pronounced gear-effect. A cut-through slot helps provide face rebound.

After getting used to the heavier weight of the clubs, these have begun to just rip the ball. I get more consistency and distance with these irons and they have helped my game immensely! Very nice to look at, help with off centre hits, and nice sounding. Excellent clubs!
