Today I played golf and was right behind a 4 some who decided to play the very back tees, all 7101 yards of them. They hit their drivers less than 200 yards and sometimes didn`t even get past the ladie`s tee box, and speaking of the ladie`s tee box, that would have been the tees for them. They were holding up the whole course and just being rude. I was in a 2 some and we were on their tail for the entire round. They didn`t let us play through and we couldn`t skip holes because there was another slow group ahead of them. I can hit my driver about 240 yards and normally play from the 2nd or 3rd tees from the tips. Those guys belonged on the ladie`s tees and them playing from the tips held everyone behind them up.

One might argue, if they had a slow group in front, would it matter what they did.

Sometimes I could play the hole 5 times over and still be waiting on the next group.

I understand on a empty course, it is downright rude to not let someone play through... but when you're stuck, you might as well have fun. Sometimes tips is fun, even if you might not do well.

Sometimes a full course just makes everyone grumpy, no matter what.

So it wasn't them that where holding up the course, it was the flight in front of them.

One should let play through when you've lost connection to the group in front, otherwise there's no reason at all.

Actually, the group ahead of them was about 2 holes ahead of them, so yeah they should have let us play cthrough.

So if they were aggravating you, and there were two open holes ahead, why didn't you just motor on by?
