It has always kind of bugged me the way every professional golfer of any degree of skill is covered in logos for various sponsors. Yes, there is often a great deal of money involved but these guys are becoming walking billboards.
Not to pick on Phil Mickelson, but his partners are: Barclays, Callaway, Exxon, GolfDigest, Grayhawk, KPMG, Rolex and Amgen. Phil is going to look like an Indy Car driver pretty soon.
It would be refreshing to see a pro with just one sponsor. Titleist (or Ford or IBM) displayed on the visor or cap and above the left breast on the pocket. Skip the sleeve(s) and various other spots located around the body. The club manufacturer-sponsor gets the bag if they are not already on the visor and shirt.

Jim Furyk is bad too.
I couldn't believe that either.
The added weight with the embroided logos probably cost him the US Open, forcing him to lose his balance and snap hook that drive

My daughter is a big Nascar fan and she commented that golfers were quickly approaching drivers with the number of logo's they wear. All they have to do now is change their hats 3 or 4 times when they are being interviewed. You know how it goes. I'd like to thank ---------fill in the blanks as needed.

They already have them for the bags, I don't think the Tour is allowing them yet, though.

Agreed, a lot of these pro's have crossed the line of good taste with the sheer volume of logo's on their persons. The typical player's hat alone carries 3 or 4 different ones. That's one cool thing about Nike-sponsored players--they sport nothing but the swoosh.

When I was drag racing, I made sure to have the decals for the sponsors with the best contingency money. We'd "blue jean the decals" before putting them on the car.(stick them on your clothes to pick up a lot of lint) It made it easier to pull them off and change to another brand of oil if the money was better.

Not really a player but the billboards everywhere is the reason that I don't care for the European Tour.
