Ok, so you tee up your ball on the tee box and put your shot into an ob area. You know have to hit your 2nd shot with penalty from the same spot you hit your first. Can you tee the ball up again or do you have to hit it from the ground?

You get to re-tee if it was your tee shot that went OB that is true for any stroke & distance penalty - Lost ball as well.
