Low this morning 41, high today 43, wind 20mph gusting to 30. Shot 92 (50-42) on a links style course. And I am a sick puppy, wore shorts, even being a native Floridian, and Hellabama is the furthest north I have ever lived.

Freezing, ducking, cold, with snow still present on grass.
And after I had a really good, useful and confidence-boosting lesson on Wednesday it's really frustrating.

jp, you really do have to take conditions into account before criticizing your score or play. I shot a 92 today on tees on this course where normally I should shoot 85-87, if not better.
But first, the cold does not let your ball go as far, then the wind affects every shot. And by that, I do not just mean the wind moving the ball, but the wind also affects your balance. One of the guys I played with today, hit a pull hook just because I saw him get blown off balance mid-swing.

All true, although my last round was 15 Jan. Right now it's too cold to even go outside, let alone go outside to play golf!

Low 60s today, but with gusty winds. It's supposed to be in the 70s tomorrow, but rainy. 50s this weekend.

We are expected to get a mix of rain and then snow through the end of the week here in SE Michigan. I am happy there is only 1 week left in February. Typically we see the start of the season by mid-March.

Been in the 20's and 30's for the last month. Supposed to be in the 20's and 30's for the next month. And we got 5" of snow on Monday that's not going anywhere soon.
If golf season doesn't look like it's "right around the corner" by the middle of March, I'm thinking about driving to Billings, MT to take in about 36 holes or so.
