Upper 80s and low 90s for the next handful of days, with a chance of t-storms each day -- completely normal for this time of the year in this part of the country. I'll take it. Supposed to play Saturday.

Way too freakin' hot today and tomorrow to even go in my backyard and practice. About 100-degrees today, upper 90s tomorrow. Heat indexes both days over 105. Should be better by the weekend, but for some ungodly reason we chose to go out of town on an overnight family trip. Ergh.

It's hot and sticky here. Never kept me from playing though. At this very point in time however, there are boomers rolling through the area. Sucks. Good light show though and the courses need the rain.

I played a couple of weeks ago on a very similar day to today. I'll never turn down a round of golf, but it was quite uncomfortable out there.

Hot and sticky is great !!!!!!! Here in Florida 90-93 every day and humid. All but the hardcore golfers run for the A/C in the afternoon. Not us...we just about have the courses to ourselves, and you can play some of the nicest clubs for 18 - 24 bucks after 12 o'clock !!!!!!! .. doesn't get any better then that. Some are 29 bucks all you want to play. Heck, some are even giving a lunch too for that price

It wasn't even hot last night. High temp was only 83. It was still 83 at 11 PM which I suspect was because of the fact that the dewpoint was also 83. Flipping miserable.
I played nine last night. I was sopping wet after three. The air was so thick, you could eat it. My dehumidifier filled with 45 pints of water three times yesterday.
We got a condensation rain last night....where the temp cools below the dewpoint and turns to water in midair. Woke up to fog this morning with the temperature above the dewpoint. The relative humidity was 118% with a heat index of 92 at 7:00 AM. And the high today is over 100, so we're pretty much screwed.

Better here today. The temp is down in the mid-90s, but it's still humid. They're calling for t-storms tonight (might be bad ones) and then the heat wave should break.

It was 106 here on Friday when I left for New Salem. It was a beautiful 65 when we got there. And the high on Friday was a beautiful 91 with no humidity.

It's been hot here, but in the mid 90s ... not so hot that I couldn't play golf in it. The problem is that every stinkin' night they call for severe thunderstorms, and every stinkin' night it looks like they'll come. Only about half the time do they actually arrive. The temp is supposed to spike on Thursday and Friday into the upper 90s/low 100s, but the weekend looks like it should be good.

Constant 102 to 106 and those are not my scores. I have been drinking a electro lite replacement just to survive. I'll let you know if it helps....I hope!

Electrolyte supplements are necessary when the heat gets so bad, it just doesn't seem like water is doing the trick anymore. But be careful. Too many electrolytes can dehydrate you. They key is in finding the proper balance.
My doctor has recommend that I drink half a bottle of Gatorade per nine holes (along with a ton of water) when the heat index goes above 90 or so.

I try and drink 1-1 with water gatorade, but I drink so damn much all the time, its hard to keep the extra fluid up on the course.
I'll go through a bottle a hole
