Just posted my first round on oobgolf yesterday and shot a respectable 78, -1 off the course hdc. for me I was somewhat pleased. front nine was great shot even par, with one birdie and one bogey. Back nine was not that good shot 43, had a penalty stroke on the 10th, and sort of lost it for a few holes after that. Out again on Saturday morning for another round. Loving oobgolf for the statitics, nice site to see where mistakes are being made and what to work on other than just posting a score.

82. A tough gusty day, monster winds. I surprised myself by going out in +2 but on the back nine I flat out lost control of my ball. I think I lost about seven tee balls to the right. My attitude went sour. I had to sort of chew out this guy who tried to jump on the 10th tee in front of us. Then on the 15th hole had to sprint after some vermin youth who had just stolen the flagstick. Ah Brooklyn. Then I started to blame the wind for all my problems; I fought it. I hit two OBs and limped in with a 44. Total score still improves on my average but I am still sore about the way I finished. I was no longer game, fighting and cursing the wind--that's where I failed.

Shot 86 today with a new set of irons that desprately need to be re-shafted, got a set of AP2's used with R300 shafts and probably need x100's or PX 6.0's in them. Love the new irons but felt like i was swinging a wet noodle today. Great weather and 86 should have been better but oh well. 2nd score posted on oobgolf and love the site.

Stat keeping has been a good influence on me. When I'm out there struggling and just feel like dogging it, I think of my scoring average and what I am doing to it.

Legitimate....couldn't agree more, while disappointing round still considered many things....need new shafts in new ap2's badly. Anyone know where to buy shafts (DG x100's or project x 6.0's) withquick turnaround.....either I can do them or have someone local that can do them.

I stunk today, Couldn't hit the ocean if I was standing on the beach. 97, ten strokes over my average. 6 over after 2 holes. I will use all the excuses, body is worn out after spending Saturday burning brush, branches and tree stumps in the yard, so I was stiff and sore, made a small adjustment to my grip, tried to hard to replicate the strokes I had been practicing. Ultimately though, just a horrible display.

Work is not conducive to good golf, you might need to reassess your priorities.

Three birdies in a row today. Woot!!!

I've never even had two in a row before. And I've only had two in a nine hole round once before.

Started on the short par 4 11th hole. I use a hybrid to tee off here, and I hit it to about 100 yards out. I put my wedge shot just about 10' short of the cup on a very tough green, and I drained the uphill putt.

The 12th hole is a short par 3, and I put my tee shot about ten feet short of the cup again. I drained the uphill putt.

And then number 13 is one of my favorite par 5's of all time. Wind was blowing right to left on the dogleg left, and I friggin creamed my drive. I was about 170 out on my second shot, and I left it just short of the green. Chipped it to about 10' short again, and I sunk the putt for bird.

Final score on the round was 89.

was trying to get 36 in after work last night, one of my coworkers joined me after 9 and I only got 27 in. Shot 75 from the black tees, then played the whites for the next 9 and shot 36. my putting was pretty good last night, am sure happy to see that starting to come back.

Not a good day. Shot 76 in par 61 exec course. Hit irons well and actually putted well but couldn't get ball to hole on slow greens. They will mow them tomorrow.

shot 101 today. poor posture and loose shots until about 2/3 of the way in. putting stank. slowest 4some ever in front of our twosome on back 9, felt like running them over with a golf cart, except that I was walking.
