Mowed the lawn this afternoon, I heard some voices behind my garage. I sneaked around to take a peek and saw these two mosquitos holding a guy on the ground. One said "let's take him home and eat him" The other one said "No let's eat him here, If we take him home , the big ones will take him away from us"

bummed. took a 1/2 day to play a round in perfect weather (67, sunny). got to the course just in time to start my round after a morning meeting. turns out that the men's club was starting their weekly skins game late, and tee times were locked until 1pm. since i had to finish before 5:30, didn't have time to go to another course. maybe i'll start playing somewhere else

Cold and damp day. 39-46 = 85 = another back nine break down. 36 putts + a couple of penalty strokes. I hit 8 greens though, mashed a couple of drives. The conditions weren't terribly hard or anything, but it was dismal out there--soggy, muddy, gloomy, cold. One of those rounds you play because you have to feed the monkey.

Decent. 41-39 on a sunny, windy day. Triple on par 5 #6 was pathetic.

It drives me absolutely crazy when I want to golf and my course has an event. Particarly since most of the area courses all tend to have their events on the same night every week.

Looking at the extended forecast, we should be smooth sailing once this weekend is over. High on Monday is in the 40's. Supposed to be in the 40's all week next week. I just might be golfing by the end of March.

Room temperature beer just doesn't quite make it, does it.

must be a test of patience as a golfer living where you do. i'd go crazy if I lived there ... maybe start stuffing things in woodchippers.

You can play golf in 4 1/2 hours!
Sunday wound up with a 79, 8 over par.
Today was a hell of a lot better. Ended up with an even-par 72 on an insanely long course(7201 yards from the 2nd tees from the tips)

What difference does the course length make if it's a video game.

PLAYER, don't tell me, show me. Post the score. All 18 holes. Make me a believer.

Played 18 solo today. I always play better by myself, I've found. My theory is that it's a mix of being able to more easily get into a rhythm, and not being as bothered (embarrassed) by the bad shots I do hit. Today started out good, weather-wise. Upper 50s and dry for the first seven holes. The drizzle started after that, and then it rained for the rest of the round. Interestingly it didn't bother me in the least. In fact, I shot a 56 on the front (mostly dry) and a 49 on the back (raining the entire time). The difference was largely putting. I had several three putts on the front but none on the back.

He's oblivious to the fact that no one here believes a word of his tall tales.
Wish he would just go back to telling ridiculously imaginative jokes in the joke forum instead of dream-like fantasies all over the rest of the forums.
We all loved him once, back when he was an 11-year old kid a couple years ago. Now that he's 27, and we need boots just to read his posts, not so much anymore.
