and hello Calloway Hex Chrome. I bought a dozen of these this weekend and played my first round with them yesterday. They are SOOOOOOOOOOOO much better around the greens. I hit a couple of pin high approach shots that took 2 hops and stuck. The E6 would have just rolled on towards the back of the green. I am sold!

If you absolutely struggle to hit the ball straight, the E6s are a good choice. But you are right, they have almost no spin on the greens.

When you look at the price difference between the E6 and your every day TopFlite or Wilson entry ball, the only advantage you get for the extra $15 per dozen is a better cover and putting.

I tested the chromes they are great but hard to find in the used market probably the only reason I am not playing them!

I had a $10 coupon at Golfsmith so I used it on a dozen.

I love the Hex Chrome, great ball. I am also excited that this year they have a new version the Chrome+ which features a urethane cover. Sang Moon Bae and Phil Mickelson are playing it supposedly. Dick's sporting goods has the Chrome+ on sale this week for $30 a dozen I am going to try to get out and grab some to try.

Also - regarding the Bridgetone, I recently did the fitting thing they do at the demo day. They suggested for the 330RX. I thought they were okay but didn't jazz me enough to pay the $44/doz price. But for kicks I grabbed a sleeve of the 330S, which is supposed to be more spinny, softer, and for higher swing speed, and I liked it much better! comparable to the ProV I thought.
