I just used the app for the first time last night, and I had 2 issues:

1. It only let me use the "score only" version of score entry. I couldn't put in my club used from tee, FIR, putts, etc. Is this normal?
2. After the round, I tapped "save". The summary screen changed to the main screen, but my score was never uploaded to the site. Did I do something wrong?

You should be able to change what kind of things (like club used, sand save, and GIR etc.) you want to score inside the settings of your app. At the right bottom of the app you should see a turning wheel that is faded. That is where you change your settings and such...

Thanks to Corey Oxley I got the settings fixed up so I can enter all my stats. However, I used the app a 2nd time and again it didn't save the score. Everything looks fine when I'm done w/ the round (no error messages or anything), but it's not saving to the website.

Are you able to "minimize" the app and make a phone call mid-round? This happened in both my rounds so far, so maybe that's my problem?

I think the "minimizing" depends on the carrier. I know with Verizon, the data will disconnect when a call comes in, so I could see that being an issue.

I'm with Verizon and had a call on the course on Friday. Didn't have any problems with the app after the call...Droid X.

Sometimes when you receive a call or a text and go out of the oobgolf app and into another one it closes the app. It's rare but I have the Samsung Captivate which is a smartphone and it sometimes does that. However, if it doesn't close or crash it should just resume where you last left off and work fine. After the round is finished, make sure you hit save score at the end. The screen should be right after the 18th holer.
