Ever play in their state Amateur or better yet the US AM? Or at least try to qualify? I haven't played real competitive golf since high school 3ish years ago. I'm from NY and considering trying a qualifier for the State Amateur. Any advice on the process and how to handle it? Thanks in advance

I joined the egolf amateur tour this year. There are 30 tours, one in Michigan. It just so happens to play every other weekend, when I'm off from work. It's a flighted format so I figured this would be a good way to judge where I'm at for now, then I plan on getting into the Michigan Am. You should check into it, I'm sure there's a tour in N.Y. for ya. Good luck
