So sporadic these couple of weeks of spring. I go from shooting 80 with an eagle last week. To shooting 102 the following week and then suddenly can't get off the tee. I guess that's just golf.

 

Huge stretch of golf coming up this week. We're gonna start of by playing in Coram, NY this upcoming Saturday. I'm gonna try to get some rounds in before that. It's gonna be tough. Then it's off to Wilmington, NC, where I'm gonna meet up with my buddy. Play there. Head down to Myrtle Beach, spend a couple of days there. Come back for a wedding in south Jersey, and end off again in NY.

 

Man what a long weekend. Came out to Sprain Lake up in Westchester County. Stayed out till 3 am the night before at Atlantic City. Tight course. Double bogeyed the first hole. Quadruple bogeyed the second. Ended up shooting 82 which was actually gross. Maybe I shoot better hungover. Who knows.

 

Phew. Played 36 holes today. It started off with a 7:18 am tee time for the CSGA One-Day at Oxford. Got paired up with Don Vance. Chris Clark a former pro joined us. Our third never joined. I was 1 under through 6. Then they blew the horn. What a momentum killer. Finished the back 9 one over. Waited for an hour and half. Came back and shot 10 over on the back. Should have went out to hit balls. The rain delay also set me back. Had to catch a 1 pm shotgun @ Yale. Showed up @ 2. Caught up with the group I was suppose to play with on #13. Shoot even par on the front 9. 7 over on the back with 2 shots going OB. Played the last 3 holes like a speed golf round. Could have shot better if we started on time and didn't rush to catch the group and finish up. Oh well. Stuff happens =P.

 

Damn. Was suppose to play the Farms CC. Played about 9 holes. Started to poor. Guess the country club guys don't want us tearing up their course. Oh well.

 

Back to drawing board for the driver :-(

 

I got the NAFAA tourney and PGI tourney coming up this weekend. I really wanna place well in them. NAFAA, I know the course well (River Ridge), but they got a +1 in the field :-(. Hey if Francis Ouimet can do it, why not. PGI, I need to place to stay within the money list. I've finally been putting lights out. But a few wayward drives put me in position to make some big numbers. I've worked on the driving theses past few days, I just need to gain confidence and execute.
