Equipment Mick, congrats on that 2nd round at Mbawa - 76 is excellent! Still have to play that course, but am now living in far away Accra, Ghana, this may be a challenge.....only goat tracks here, but my home course is being re-built to Championship International standard by Paul McGinley and should be ready by end-2013. Cheers. 4/2/13

Hi Mick noted you have had a round first for many months, like wise for James and i in the UK, this morning, cold and windy but the sun was shining. good to be on the course again! 3/30/13

Morning Mick, no golf to day, will have to practice the swing while painting? Boys off to play Mulanje this am. 7/1/12
Sjoerd you are right! Bloody frustrating, but have lost my feel for distance. Driver is still working a charm, but no feel. That's what happens when you don't play enough. I am off on the 17th, so must have a game on the 13th,14th or 15th. cheers 3/26/12
Mick, you need to work on your GIR! Low GIR is something that can be managed on "browns" (they tend to be smaller and easier to chip/putt on), but on greens, it's much more difficult to scramble the pars. That's why good score in Thyolo, bad in Limbe. Keep practicing I will be back from Europe on April 11th. 3/26/12
You played 41 and took money (11 skins) off 4 other guys? I must play Mulanje if the opposition is that weak - especially Illingsworth cash! I will be out in Ghana and Europe for about a month from Wednesday (14th March), so let's play mid-April 3/11/12
of all the courses in Kenya I miss Limuru the most, and especially the early sunday mornings spent there. YEs, the course was shabby at times, but the atmosphere one of the best in the world I reccon! I look forward to playing you there soon one day, without giving you any shots!!!!!!!!!!!! :-) Farm life is indeed a little more active, not good enough to keep me fit though. take care! 9/6/11
pole, man. squash is a deadly one for injuries. david properly buggered his ankle, as well. i'm sure you're getting your exercise from that farm work. let us know when you next expect to be this side. major renovations happening at limuru. improvements to all tee boxes. three new greens (bent grass) and two under construction. 9/6/11
haven't touched a club! part work/fam and that squash injury. My shoulder is properly buggered! Was just thinking how much i missed playing good golf with you guys and miss playing at limuru! 9/1/11
