Yeah, my scores have been going the wrong way for a few weeks now too. Maybe we'll get a little grass on the course in the next few weeks and we won't take 2 cubic yards of mud with each shot.

hey dude i live in east county in the rancho san diego area, about 8 minutes from cottonwood and my school is right by balboa so me and my friends will play there after school sometimes.

Regarding your question about why I can't break 80, especially since I seem to drive ok, is I can't chip or pitch for shit. Recently I put my little chipper/putter back in the bag and it helped a LOT today.

ToddRobb, There are a couple of ways to play a one man scramble. I've never played one, but I hear that you just get two chances on each shot, and you can take the best one. Some games require you to use the second shot if you elect to take a second shot.

 

how'd you play a one man scramble? yeah we played 4 man but one guy was about a 40 handicap LOL. we just couldnt make any putts on the front.

 

What's a 1 man scramble, I've never heard of that.

I'll try to do it Momday....no hitting the putt again until it stops rolling...lol.... I've already started thinking about how the score could enter into the equation, Like a 10 second penalty for a bogie or a 10 second reduction for a birdie....etc. Maybe next time. good luck TF

 

yeah I had a good day. that course seems to fit my game for some reason. the time before we actually played a scramble. I know high score for a scramble but two of the guys dont play golf and one is about a 25 handi.

Its going down i just sucked so bad before the lessons, had a 39 a beaver today so its dropping, Im gonna catch your ass haha. We need to play more together i do better when i play against better golfers than me.

 

I was on a commercial flight from Orlando to Houston Thursday. It got diverted to Baton Rouge, I sat there for 3 hours wishing I could get off the plane and call you for some golf.
