The rain really sucked for golf this weekend, didn't it?

We got so board at the hotel that we were filming each others swings while standing in the rain, hitting balls in a field adjacent to the hotel off of I-95.

Thanks. Should have actually been about 4-5 strokes less. I was putting the lights. Had 6 or 7 one putts after missing the green. 3 more pulled up an inch short of the hole. 2 of those were putts from the fringe 25-30 feet out. Coming together. I have to find a way to bring the trajectory of my shots down. I am losing so much distance on my irons. I was firing at the flag all day and coming up ten to twenty yards short of the green. If I acn keep the ball down my scores should dropping in to the low 80's and possibly 70's.

The Vistal course was in Phoenix. Trying to get a round in while I'm down in Orangeburg but the rain is just not gonna let it happen. Yeah I like Crosswinds but we'll have to wait for a little cooler weather before walking that place.

Lets go and play Crosswinds sometime...it's a great course to work on those types of shots. I used to go there at least once a month and my accuracy for approach shots to the green did improve. Let me know if you get some time in your schedule.

Oh yeh...great score at Summerset! I never play well there.

My biggest area of concern is my middle and long iron play. As you can see my GIR% is severely lacking. Never gonna get my scores where I want them until I find a way to hit greens. Getting off the tee without a problem. Second shot is the problem. Causes me to give up on putts. Lots of practice needed in this area.

Yeah it did make some some holes tough. Man it felt great out there though. Really cooled things off. Little rain in the middle of the round but nothing that affected play.
