Narrow fairways with lots of trees; a total of 58 bunkers (1 hole has none and 1 has 12, 3 are large enough to have grass island in them, 2 surround over half of the greens they protect) 13 holes have water in play, 5 large ponds and numerous creeks (built on bottom land.) Shot placement and shot shaping is a big plus. Merlin you're not far, come up and play a round. 6/12/09
Mookie,Funny you should mention that 135. I was looking at that also. My home course is about the same length from the whites,6300, but it's only 102 slope. What makes it so tough Jim? Are there a lot of trees? 6/10/09
Good scores, mon, on what looks like a tough course. I don't think I've ever played one with a slope at 135. 4/22/09
Manta -- How does the draw clubs work for you? were you fading shots before you started using them? Does weighting do it all? 3/27/09
Congrats on the 79 Wednesday! We proved we can do it, Why can't we do it every time? 3/22/09
How did you like the Playa Paraiso course? We're staying at the Grand Paraiso in September and are getting a couple free rounds there. 7/31/08
Thanks for the comment merlin2driver, if only I could find my way around my swing ;-) 4/18/08
It's good to see more Texans joining up. Looks like you know your way around Hollytree by now. 4/7/08
