Ya gotta love this game huh. From a sextuple bogie to Eagle Par Par in one round.....I'll bet you can hardly wait to get back out for another round......Good luck

The one thing I am proud of regardless of a bad shot or hole here or there, is my progress since I started back playing. I played from when I was a kid into high school and quit playing for 10 years until last september and I went out and shot a 113 first time out, and I started to get my scores down, dropping them fairly consistently, not too much play over the winter though. But my goal by the end of the summer is to shoot consistently in the eighties. My goal by the end of spring is to shoot consistently in the nineties, and with my last 6 rounds in a row all under 100 (considering I only had 4 before that all together) I think I am on the right track. Like the band I used to be in, Slow Roasted, based on the premise that the greatest things in life take time. Like a round on Sunday on a course packed deep with foursomes. Drive fer show, putt for dough, but no matter how good you are at putting you still go to get on the green to do it.

I just need to make better decisions, like put the ball back out in the fairway for 2 hit a 30 yard wedge into the green and putt for par or at the worst bogie, instead of taking the 100 yard wedge shot from in the trees with tree in your backswing that you know will mess you up but you try anyway and get a triple bogie. I know I can definitely shave strokes by better decision making.

Hey ,like you,I eagled a par four for the second time this week. I was in Cozumel and hit a 125 yard second shot in the hole. Pretty exciting. The first time I did it was in St Louis on a 430 yard par 4 and the second shot was 190 yards.....
