NOW, PAY UP SUCKA! 8 members 92 average score 12 average handicap  Norboo says:Westfield, Sat 6/8/2013 4th, par 5: sprayed my 3rd shot 30 yards right, chip it in for a birdie. 7th, par 3: spayed my tee shot 60 yards left, chip it to 20 feet, tap it in for a par. 9th, par 4: Drove it into the woods, chunked a wedge into the fairway bunker, hit a 9 iron 135 yards from the fairway bunker to 30 feet past the hole and tapped that double breaker in for a sandy par. 12th, par 3: pulled the tee shot into the lower bunker. Blasted the sand shot to hit the pin leaving a give-me tap in sandy par. 6/9/13
Norboo says:15th, par 5: Pulled my 3rd shot 20 yards left, chip shot hit the pin leaving give-me tap in par. 16th, Par 4: chip shot nicked the pin for a give-me tap in par. 17th, par 3: Over hit the green by 30 yards, hit my chip shot (double breaker up and down hill) leaving me a slippery 3 footer. I had some very good drives but that doesn’t hold candle to the joy I get from my short game and the expressions from my playing partners when I hit the pin or drop a super long double breaking putts. Overall, it felt like old times! I hope this is an indication that my short game is coming around. 6/9/13
Norboo says:Pleasant Valley 5/26 Best 99 I’ve posted thus far. Going into 17 hole, I was down by 1 with Chun and down by 2 with Min. Chun snowmaned the 17th and bogeyed 18th. I double bogeyed 17th and bogeyed 18th to win by 1. Min bogeyed the 17th and on the 18th, he hooked his ball OB, teed up another to OB once again. He hit his 3rd ball down the middle and hit his 6th shot into the water maxing out at double par +1 to lose by 1. Golf is never over till the fat lady sings…and she sang loudly on the 18th! :D 5/27/13

Norboo says:Laurel Hills 1/12/2013 18th hole. I had a 12 footer for par which I drained to shoot 79/78. Guy I played with throw his wedge at me, cussed me out as he stormed off. He didn’t even pick up his ball. 1/13/13
Norboo says:I played my first GolfStyles Tournament at Laurel Hills today. It was fun and educational. I can’t wait till the next tournament. I shot 101/ESC 96. I two putted from 6 inches. I really like the fact that we have to hole out. Here is how my day went. Front: 2, -1, 1, 6, 1, 5, 2, 0, 0 in at 15 Back: 1, 5, 1, 3, 1, 0, 2, 2, 0, 0 in at 15 Yes, I shot 6 over on a par 3. LOL 3 players in my group shot under 80. 6/9/12

Norboo says:Focal Laser Surgery didn’t go so well, my eyes actually got worse. Doc will inject both my eyes with steroids next week, after my eyes settles, he will try another round of Focal Laser Surgery. Chun Stop drooling over my money. I think I will be out for a while longer. 4/19/12

 Chun says:Hit the range today for about 3 hours....really starting to understand the correct swing. Amazing what regular shafts have done to my game..... Making room in my schedule to play Jonathan :P 7/13/11
Norboo says:I out drove Chun on many of the holes, chipped in, drained long putts, even played left handed but nothing worked. After holing out on the 18th, I just opened my wallet and let him take what he wanted. Drive home was numbing and the reality started to settle in. Double pared on the 9th and the 18th will haunt me but the sinister smile on Chun’s face while he took my money will haunt me forever. 7/12/11
Chun says:Shot my best round ever at Old Hickory.....played the same ball (1st time in at least the past 40 rounds) and parred the monster 18 par 5 for the first time.......oh........and took Jonathan for another $56.......Life is good. 7/11/11
Chun says:1757 is short I admit, but its tight... you have to be accurate....you definitely don't need a driver which I barely use when I play there....which explains why I don't score well in a typical course because my driver sucks so bad.. 80?? nice round. 7/9/11

Chun says:Shot an 81 with 2 penalty strokes (3 doubles and 2 birdies). I am starting to get used to the SuperFast....I am at least 20 yards longer when I connect and the ball is going straighter.... you suckas are in trouble when I figure it out. 7/8/11
Norboo says:Just got done playing a round at Lake Presidential in 100 degree weather, my car reads 106 degrees. Crappy course and way over priced! Greens were so slow, I need a nine iron to lay up on a 10 foot putt. Never going back! 6/8/11

Went out to go to driving range today to try out my new iron. Course was wide open so I thought about getting 9 in but ended up playing 18. Wide open, 3 hour round. 5/15/11

Norboo says:Old Hickory with Larry 4/26/11 My entire body was sore and had hard time making a full turn or making a full back swing. I don’t know how made it through the day, but my scorecard tells a different story. Front 9: 6 over 1,0,1,0,1,1,0,1,1 Back 9: 13 over 0,2,3,1,1,1,0,0,5 Total of 91, after adjustment, 88 I didn’t drive the ball well, iron shots were all over the place and short game was mediocre at best. Despite the pain, I really enjoyed the day. 4/26/11
