Warrior 8/13: made it through 15 before the redneck bastards locked us out by chaining the gates to 16 tee at 8:20. we passed a smoking 17 year old on her bike on 14 and Gill almost dunked it on the par 3 out of sheer inspiration (similar to 2004 in Lexington, KY following our shotgun on the tee). Entered 9 all square with Gill at +4 and proceeded to take 4 in the right woods for a triple to loose by half a stroke at +2.5. Vandevelde-esque.

Alecy was on 14 tee (~210 downhill bunker blocking view of pin) during our 2nd round and while I was consuming dewars and squeezing in a large waaaaager on Players, I hear "I think I just made a hole in one". Not having watched Gille's shot I flipped and started screaming and jumping up and down. It's not every day someone says this, especially one of us. I can see a 20hcp saying it, but when Gill did I was SURE it was in, AND I had missed it because I was drinking, smoking, dipping, and waaaagering. So we drive down and sure enough Gille's ball isn't on the green.... It's on the fringe 15 feet short. At least he made the putt for bird. Alecy/Chaaarles said "put me down for 2wwwwee. Are we back in the city-state of Awwwburn??

I actually clicked on Gills scorecard after seeing your ace comment Miller. And yes I was 3 over through 3, but went birdie, birdie, eagle (13,14,15) to get back to par. And lipped out birdie on 16. + a bogie on 17 for 73.

730AM with Zigler. Called my 95 on the number on the 1st tee to Z. Out all night following Dad's CCC birthday boozefest followed by jam session with unmentionable. holes 1-5 wanted to have a continued jam session with the Auburn mom we were paired with who happened to sport a pink lady dunlop XL-jam. She had to be a bit younger than the girl from a few hours back..if I had to guess I'd say 44 years young. On the 4th tee mentioned a bit too loud to Z, "I'd jam her"..Zig, with a dissaproving shake of his head, adeptly equated my behavior to Bill Murray at Bushwood. Think she was turned on by my huge lipper on the 2nd tee at 7:45a, though. As we walked off the 18th I asked her what she posted. "87, "probably got you by a good 10.You crack 100 there,slick?" By that time she obviously had forgotten I told her I was a PRO on 5 tee.I walked away down $400 to Z and with an ego that was in as bad a shape as my game. Didn't she know I was only in town for the weekend? Dumb redneck should have taken advantage.

Well what happened was on that back nine I got my ass kicked. I got my ass totally kicked. I couldn't do diddly poo against Z. I couldn't make a Par, I didn't try to make a par, I couldn't make a putt....I sucked. I stunk. That back nine I sucked. I couldn't stop Z's run. Every hole he drove the ball 330 down the middle and made birdie, I made triple from the woods. I got my ass totally kicked on that back nine. That's what it boiled down to. It was a horseshit performance on the back nine. Horseshit. I'm totally embarrassed and totally ashamed. Mentally I did a horrible job, competitively I did a horrible job, I got my ass kicked on that back nine. I sucked. I stunk.

However, Edge wasn't ALL bad. We did have the half cute beer girl hitting on us for the second time. She wanted a jam session in the woods, no question. However, with the amount of Vyv i had pumping through my veins, my monster wasn't exactly primed for battle. Too bad you're spoken for Z. Remember in Costa Rica when we had busty blondes wearing next to nothing following us stocked with cigs, beer and liquor? We need to find a track like that around here. Maybe we should ask Dumbell where to find the south american chicks in town....

That's because if you hit in in the middle of the fairway at the Edge you are still going to be OOB with the BS slope. Gill would have a field day out there. "Hey, Z, how far to that third large oak in the middle of the woods on the right?" Or maybe it was because we both managed to 3 putt the entire back nine. I did make a clutch 10 incher (for my final 3 putt) that slid in the left edge to seal the deal.

Yeah, I agree. It's tough to do though. Check out my back 9 from the 6/12 Quail round (includes a 3-putt on 11). Good round at Chapel Rid BTW
